You're my friend
We'll be together 'til the end
What else is there for a friend to do
But stick around and be with you.

Understand that I'll love you 'til the end
What else is there for a friend to do
But stick around and be with you.

And I know that's it hard to be where you are
And I want you to know i'll be there
I won't fall apart
I'll be with you.

You're my friend
And I will stand by your side
To the end of (?)
What else is there that I could do?

And I know that's it hard to be where you are
And I want you to know I'll be there
I won't fall apart
I'll be with you.

General CommentBadwan told in an interview that Black Lips frontman Cole Alexander wrote the track for the band's friend, who was suffering from lung cancer. Bizarrely he died the day after they finished recording. It's a kinda sad song, but there's still some kind of hope insinde. The only hope you can have in such a forlorn situation. (I like the cover more than the original song, but that's my little secret ;) )
