"The Weight Of Us" as written by and Christopher Wayne Keup Bohlke Sanders....
There are thieves, who rob us blind
and kings, who kill us fine
but steady, the rights and the wrongs
invade us, in innocent song
I'm not ready, I'm not ready
for the weight of us, for the weight of us
for the weight of us, for the weight of all of us
There's a cold heart, buried beneath,
and warm blood, running deep
Secrets - are mine to keep
protected by silent sleep
I'm not ready, I'm not ready
for the weight of us, for the weight of us
for the weight of us, for the weight of all of us

The time has come, let us be brave
The time has come, let us be brave
Shake off all of your sins
The time has come, let us be brave
The time has come, let us be brave
Let us be brave, let us be brave

General CommentHits me right in the heart. To me it's about being afraid. Afraid of love and letting someone in emotionally- and essentially what that will bring ("the weight of us"), the person is scared they are not ready. If they are not brave they will miss out though. There may be a bigger picture here, a more global perspective possibly to this song, but on an individual level that's what it means to me.

    General CommentGreat, thoughtful song.
Only have it as a single, but I'd be interested in hearing more from him and about him.
