I'm feeling crazy 'cause I said some things that I didn't mean to
And I've been selfish looking for nobody but me, ooh
If I had a chance, girl, I'd take it all back
If I had a wish, baby, I'd make you forget that
I was the one, the one who made you run away
Didn't think I'd see the day

I've been waking up by my lonesome
Losing everything cause I want one
Now someone else is in the picture holding you
But I can't believe who

I can take you setting fire to my Bentley Continental
Driving by my house, putting bricks through all my windows
I could even take it if you found somebody new
It's the last thing I expected you to do
Anything, not the homie, no
Anything, how could you be so cold?
Could have fell for anybody
Why did it have to be my friend?
Girl, anything but him

Love was so cold
Girl, you didn't have to take it there
I lost a lover and a friend
Girl, it just ain't fair
He was like a brother to me
At least that's what I thought
And now he's all in the sheets
Rolling in that bed I bought
I could be dirty
And do the same thing to you
That wouldn't be cool

I've been waking up by my lonesome
Losing everything cause I want one
Now someone else is in the picture holding you
But I can't believe who

I can take you setting fire to my Bentley Continental
Driving by my house, putting bricks through all my windows
I could even take it if you found somebody new
It's the last thing I expected you to do
Anything, not the homie, no
Anything, how could you be so cold?
Could have fell for anybody
Why did it have to be my friend?
Girl, anything but him

Don't want to come off too petty
Girl, I don't want to be that dude
I never saw myself as someone who'd be stalking you
Don't really think I'll ever be ready
I don't know if I've done something wrong
Keep it 100, girl, how long has this been going on?
I can take this heartbreak
If you take your wedding game
If I keep it 100 girl
This is icing on the cake
And nothing 'bout this whole damn thing
Making sense to me, makes no sense to me

I can take you setting fire to my Bentley Continental
Driving by my house, putting bricks through all my windows
I could even take it if you found somebody new
It's the last thing I expected you to do
Anything, not the homie, no
Anything, how could you be so cold?
Could have fell for anybody
Why did it have to be my friend?
Girl, anything but him

How could you do this girl?
Do this to me
How could you do this girl?
I can't believe

I Can't Go To Sleep

This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
