A smile spreads across my face
As whirling spirits stain the air.
A sea of mobile bodies feeding of the energy
It seems as if we’re launching into outer space.
Werewolves walking near the water
Make it hard to fall asleep.
Howling hoards consumed by hunger aren’t safe to be around.
Better not make a peep.
Stitched in sutures, mend my torn up will to find
A place where flowers bloom unbound by space or time
Where peoples’ hands are joined and thought is a chance to grow
Free of the bleak and bland
Our spirits never low.
Scaly serpents slither softly
In the vast array of bloom.
People fear what they can’t hear and what they can’t see
When they peer into ideas bold and new.
Whitewashed windows patter faintly
On the house that’s next to mine.
An idea struck my mind and got me thinking overtime
Will someone please sort out the line?
Stitched in sutures, mend my torn up will to find
A place where flowers bloom unbound by space or time
Where peoples’ hands are joined and thought is a chance to grow
Free of the bleak and bland
Our spirits never low.
