"Forgiveness is a Six Gun" as written by Bradley Fafara, John Boecklin, Jeffrey Kendrick, Jonathan Miller and Michael Spreitzer....
Thirty third degree, on the corner of Quit Street and Temptation Avenue
On the road to redemption, outside of heave
Pride can be dangerous and you knew
Method of execution, length of duration
At what cost?

Forgiveness is a six gun, teach me how to shoot
The truth is like a moving target, forgiveness is a six gun

The streets from the start, have been filled with doubt
And they are set free, you needed someone to carry you
Fighting and counting the days, the error of your ways
Methods of execution, length of duration, at what cost?

Forgiveness is a six gun, teach me how to shoot
The truth is like a moving target, forgiveness is a six gun

In cold blood, dressed in black
Tombstones and tumbleweeds
Left the dead behind, watched em falling
Let Smith and Wesson do the motherfucking talking

Dust in my eyes, dust in the street, shotguns and broken dreams
Now we left the dead behind, watched em falling
Let the Smith and Wesson do the motherfucking talking

Now!

Forgiveness is a six gun, teach me how to shoot
The truth is like a moving target, forgiveness is a six gun
There is no forgiveness
There is no forgiveness
There is no forgiveness
There is no forgiveness

General Commentaccording to the DVD that comes with the special edition of the album this song was inspired by the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. one of the members has a tattoo of the main character Roland up his arm.

General Commentbadass new song. i knew devildriver was conservative from the first time i saw them.
Dez is a good guy and a fmaily man and smart which is why he is a conservative. that is how i knew he was.

the song is talking about how if obama pulls outta iraq then all our soliders wud have died for nothing and that we freed iraq and need to help them but the liberals dont care. yes i know obama is putting a few troops in the middle east still, but he did promise to pull them all out.

"The streets from the start have been filled with doubt
And they are set free, you needed someone to carry you"

dez also says "At what cost?" many times, refering to iraq and how if we pull out, and lose, everything would be for nothing. the deaths, money etc.

Dez also likes guns when he refers to smith and wesson and many other guns showing he is abadass conservative, not a pussy liberal. if any liberal wants to debate, then be ready to lose.
