"Gracias" as written by Jose Luis Gongora Arechar, Javier Ortega and Patricia Manterola....
Gracias por la libertad
Gracias por la democracia
Por el estado de derecho
A quien debo tanta gracia
Erradicar, fraude y cohecho
Libres hacia la verdad

Respetando autonomías
Y que el pánico no cunda
Nada de ciudadanos
De segunda
Esta si es la nueva era
De humanidad y la mía
En un mundo de primera
No me dejes despertar
Déjame seguir soñando
Me pregunto ya hasta cuando

General CommentIt's a hard song to translate... especially that last bit, "¿Y hasta cuándo?"
Literally, those words mean "until" and "when", but "until when" doesn't sound good in English.

Anyway, this song is a kick to the Mexican government's balls.
It's the fantasy that all of us living here have: for our country to be just; in its dictionary definition, for everyone to receive what is corresponding and deserving to them.
The last line of the song asks how much longer we have to wait for the situation to change.

    TranslationEnglish translation:

    "Thank You"

    Thank you for the freedom
    Thank you for the democracy
    For the Rechtsstaat
To whom I owe so much grace
    Eradicate fraud and bribery
    Free towards truth

    Respecting autonomies
    And don't panic
    No second-class citizens
    This is the new era
    Your humanity and mine
    In a first-class world

    Don't let me wake up
    Let me keep on dreaming
    I wonder:
    And how long for it?
