"Comets" as written by Simon Aurell, Catherine Genevieve Mary Lucas, Justin Finch, Amos Akbar Memon, Leon Eric Beckenham and Mark John West....
Look up, open the clouds
Here comes the bombshell
On the way home…

And now we want the coal?
Confusing times

Cry murder, cry what you like
Just let the comets lead the way

We’ll tear it down
We’ll hold the truth by the neck
Kick in the doors and burn the books
Try to forget

And wear it like flag
Try to be patient
On the way home

'Cause inside, behind every curtain
They count the minutes, they count the days

We’ll tear it down
We’ll hold the truth by the neck
Kick in the doors and burn the books
Try to forget

If you look at the horizon there is always something ducking out of sight
When you’re looking at the treetops
And they’re scratching out their patterns in the sky

Look up, open the clouds
Here comes the bombshell
On the way home

General Commenti love the poetic nature of this song, i just can't really figure out what it means (maybe because it's so early in the morning) but hopefully someone will know...soon?

General CommentI am only guessing... It seems to be someone who is living with a depression or suffering and is waiting to be lifted from it or be taken down by it, like suicide or something along those line. It sounds like they are describing the slowness of pain and the fact that it can either build or slowly melt away. Also they seem to be comforting the sufferer. Telling them this period is going to be hard, but you will surely see the better side and relief soon.
