I'd bet all your dollars on me
I’m underestimated constantly
I hit half a milli
Made the crowd go silly
I did it all myself with no help and no team
You want to come backstage yeh
Have my weed and my champagne yeh
You trippin' harder than a addict
What I have nah you can have it
I don’t know you
I’m savage ohh
Money in the bank
Saint on my chain
Everybody’s saying that
I ain’t the same
Fuck yeh, you right
This is my life now
Bouta catch a flight
Put a show on in your hometown
Money in the bank
Saint on my chain
Everybody’s saying that
I ain’t the same
Fuck yeh, you right
This is my life now
Bouta catch a flight
Put a show on in your hometown
They never thought I'd really do it
Started from the bottom makin' heavy metal music
Never underestimate someone that's quiet, no
We be plottin' big tings out here in silence oh (We do)
I don't really have no enemies
Yeh I forgive but don't forget them memories
Don't tag me in that shit
We ain't cool like that one bit
I don't owe you anything
So you can pay to see me sing aight
I been on this wave all by myself
Wouldn’t have it any other way
Money in the bank
Saint on my chain
Everybody’s saying that
I ain’t the same
Fuck yeh, you right
This is my life now
Bouta catch a flight
Put a show on in your hometown
Money in the bank
Saint on my chain
Everybody’s saying that
I ain’t the same
Fuck yeh, you right
This is my life now
Bouta catch a flight
Put a show on in your hometown
I been on this wave all by myself
Wouldn’t have it any other way
Money in the bank
Saint on my chain
Everybody’s saying that
I ain’t the same
Fuck yeh, you right
This is my life now
Bouta catch a flight
Put a show on in your hometown

    My Interpretation

The song paints the story of two characters, a girl that feels increasingly alienated in a crowded society and an aging man facing the reality of growing into a person much like his father.

However both find comfort (she's never alone/he's never growing old) as long as St. Christopher is here. St. Christopher is the patron saint of travellers and they are both going through a particular journey in their lives... he protects them.

That's just my two cents worth anyway ...

I absolutely love this track, definately not my favourite at first (actually thought it was the weakest track on the Sticks 'n' Stones EP) but it has grown on me a lot recently, it is stunningly beautiful.

Admittedly his vocals aren't very strong on that track but I've always been a fan of Jamie's slower, acoustic songs.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
