La da da da da da
Hey hey hey goodbye (good riddens)
Hold up

Only rappers to re-write history without a pen
No I-D on the track let the story begin, begin, begin

This is anti auto-tune, death of the ring-tone,
This ain't for iTunes, this ain't for sing alongs
This is Sinatra at the opera, bring a blonde
Preferably with a fat ass who can sing a song
Wrong, this ain't politically correct (arh!)
This might offend my political connects (arh!)
My raps don't have melodies
This shit make niggas wan' go and commit felonies
Get your chain tooken
I may do it myself, I'm so Brooklyn
I know we facing a recession
But the music y'all making going make it the great depression (arh!)
Or your lack aggression
Put your skirt back down, grow a set man
Nigga this shit violent
This is death of auto-tune, moment of silence

La da da da da da
Hey hey goodbye
Hold up

Only rappers to re-write history without a pen
No I-D on the track let the story begin, begin, begin

Hold up,
This ain't a number one record (arh!)
This is practically assault with a deadly weapon (arh!)
I made it just for Flex and
Mister Cee, I want niggas to feel threatened (arh!)
Stop your bloodclot crying
The kid, the dog, everybody dying, no lying
You niggas jeans too tight
You colors too bright, your voice too light (arh!) (arh!)
(It's too far nigga)
I might wear black for a year straight
I might bring back Versace shades
This ain't for z100
Ye told me to kill y'all to keep it one hundred
This is for Hot 9-7
This shit's for Clue, for Khaled, for we the best in
Nigga this shit violent
This is death of auto-tune, moment of silence

La da da da da da
Hey hey hey goodbye
Hold up

Only rappers to re-write history without a pen
No I-D on the track let the story begin, begin, begin

Hold up,
This shit need a verse from Jeezy
I might send this to the mix-tape Weezy
Get somebody from B-M-F to talk on this
Get this to a blood, let a crip walk on it (arh!)
Fifty thou' to style on this
I just don't need nobody to smile on this (arh!)
Y'all niggas singing too much
Get back to rap you t-paining too much (arh!) (arh!)
I'm a multi-millionaire
So how is it I'm still the hardest here (arh!)
I don't be in the project hallway
Talking about how I be in the project all day (arh!)
That sound stupid to me
If you a gangsta this is how you prove it to me (arh!) (arh!)
Nigga just get violent
This is death of auto-tune moment of silence

La da da da da da
Hey hey hey goodbye
Hold up

General CommentI also just had to log on to keep it 100.

It's way more simple than that...

keeping it 100 just means staying true to yourself . . . keeping it real.

General Commentpretty much stating his dislike for the current sound (even though he's lend help in harboring it for a while) and trying to shift it back to the blueprint/mid 90's sound.

what the hell does he mean:
    this aint for Z100
'Ye told me to kill ya
    to keep it 100

off the top it sounds like he's saying: kanye told me to kill this track to keep it moving.. but i could be wrong. thoughts?

lol @ kanye going over the track sounding offended

sick track, can't wait for the album.

General CommentThis song is true and is AWESOME! Seriously, how do people with autotune perform. Kanye is ok and t-pain is ok.
This is really funny, kanye produced this song, 808s&Heartbreak had good reviews but anyone i ask hates it. I feel autotune ruined kanye.

    General CommentFound some interesting lines...

    "Bring a blonde
    preferably with a fat ass
    who can sing-a-song."
Possibly talking about the fat lady who sings when something's over.

"I might wear black four years straight."
Obama's our president for four years, which is probably what he's referring to.

And the moment of silence is basically saying that auto-tune is dead, we don't have to hear from it anymore.

General CommentWhen he says "death of autotune moment of silence" he is referring to when people die or like on 9/11 when there is a moment of silence.

"i may do it myself im so BROOKLYN!"- meaning he may bring back Hip Hop he's so Brooklyn (because Hip Hop is supposly dead)

"[la, la , la , hey, hey, hey good-bye]"- basically showing they he doesn't care if he can't sing, he doesn't need autotune to make music

"pull your skirt back down grow a set man"- calling the people who uses autotune B*tches and to grow some balls

'stop your blood clot crying the kid the dog everybody dying no lying"- Taken from Biggie's song Just A Memory

"you t-pain-ing to much"- using autotune too much

    @ platan0

He is referring to Z100(pop radio station in NY). Saying his song is not for pop radio station Z100. Instead his song is gonna be played by Hot97, a hip hop and rap radio station in NY. Also, when he says, "ye told me to keep it 100", meaning that it was asked of him to tone down the song to get it more radio plays and get in pop100 weekly billboard charts.

General CommentThe general idea behind this song is that Jay-Z feels that todays rappers are too soft ("i am a multi millionaire so how is it im still the hardest nigga here"), and that he is offically "killing" auto-tunes so that rappers (like Kayne) can "get back to rap" ("yeah this death of auto tune moment of silence").
