You got it all down, got it all down, down to a science
breaking hearts, is what you do for fun, little one
but see I wrote it all down, wrote it all down into a song
I'll break you're heart in just three minutes now
look who won

Yeah I'm moving on but that's the way it goes
when you break my heart, everybody knows
don't pull that shit again

For me now, but I'm building up
I can see that I've had enough, of you
I'm finally through

And all I see in you
is another mistake right over my shoulder
now I see, who you are
All I saw in you, was a girl just lookin for love
and now all I need, is an apology
but damn, that's too much!

Everybody's talking about how
you're not the girl, that you say you are
with that decieving little smile
and your black hole of denial
I'm, not the least bit suprised
that your whole wide world
is crashing down, right before my eyes

And all I see in you
is another mistake right over my shoulder
now, I see who you are
All I saw in you, was a girl just lookin for love
and now all I need is an apology

And all I see in you
is another mistake right over my shoulder
now, I see who you are
All I saw in you, was a girl just lookin for love
and now all I need is an apology
Is that too much?

I looooove this. Such a hateful song. So different from his usual happy, optimistic songs.

"I'll break you heart in just three minutes. Now look who one." <3

Great song. I'm sure the meaning is easy to figure out. A girl broke up with a guy, and he realizes she is heartless. So he writes this song about it. He was hurt, and he is wanting her to know that he is moving on. This is pretty much a big slap in the face for that heartless girl. Classic story. I <3 NeverShoutNever.

This song is basically a song to the girl from his other song "losing it" who he had been with for nine months decided to go more than first base with her. Being 16 he lost his virginity to her and later found out she had cheated on him with 8 other guys during the nine months.

In the first part he is Saying that the girl breaks hearts forfun because she has cheated on him and others serval times and he wrote it in a song (losing it). He'll break her heart in just three minutes and look who one is that he wrote a song about what happened a small amount of time and now he's popular for it so now he the one who's winning.

The second part is that he is moving on and he is over her and what happened and just don't mess with him like that because he will write a song about it.

The third part is what he saw in her he thought she loved him and was true just a mistake and he wants an apology but he guesses that to much to ask from her.

The last part is just saying that everybody saw that she wasn't the girl she said she was, she wasputting a front all along. Now her world is crashing down because of what she has done.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
