Last night I told a thousand lies to you
Into your eyes I swore that I loved you
It's getting harder girl that you may see
That i'm the one for you and you for me

Feels so good these days
Where happiness can be
Glad i found you and your mine
We'll be fine i'm sure
If we can just ignore it
Glad I found you and your mine
And your mine
And your mine

I never really told the truth, so please
Don't get upset or try to change for me
I'm sorry if it hurts but babe, it's true
Girl if it helps I'll say that I love you

Feels so good these days
Where happiness can be
Glad i found you and your mine
We'll be fine i'm sure
If we can just ignore it
Where I found you and your mine
And your mine
And your mine

Feels so good these days
Where happiness can be
Glad i found you and your mine
We'll be fine i'm sure
If we can just ignore it
Where I found you and your mine
And your mine
And your mine

General CommentPuts you in a happy place? Did I miss something. This is not a love song. He has been lying to her about loving her. He apparently likes spending time with her and is not ashamed about lying to her; he is quite clear about not being in love with her. In essence, he's using her. To him, their relationship will be fine if she simply ignores the fact that he doesn't love her. It's a pathetic, yet creative, song.

General CommentYo skyhigh or what ever, the verse that you have "Where happiness can be" is wrong! The correct way is "We're happy as can be"! Duh!! Why do u think the song is called " HAPPY AS CAN BE!!" your welcome!!
