malibus gas station
pumps up the nation
a tough-crested bear
snow on the way here

come on dear, you've gotta use it
that'a girl, don't you blow it
come on baby, turn me on now
it will make you feel so good now, yeah!

took the stage to show you
so long ago now
my mind is hazy
just a little crazy

come on, do it, you've gotta use it
that'a girl, don't you blow it
come on baby, turn me on now
? if they won't pay you

everybody down,
everybody dark,
crawling on the ground

mind counting faster?
my face is plaster

come on do it, gotta use it,
that'a girl, don't you blow it
come on baby, turn it on now,
it will make you feel so good, yeah!

everybody down,
everybody dark,
crawling on the ground
floating on the sound
crawling in a hot tub
bringing me with the undertow
what's yours is mine, what's yours is mine,
the undertow,
pull me down, pull me down,
the undertow
won't you kiss me now

malibu gas station
oppress the nation
californian magic
uptown, so tragic

General CommentI think that this is a pop culture critique of the Hollywood media culture of watching young girls self destruct. These images of girls drinking and plastering themselves fuel the nation. We get off as a culture on watching these teenage girls fall apart. It is in for girls to drink themselves into rehab for popularity and acceptance. This is just plain oppressive to everybody.

General CommentIn the first section it goes

    Malibu Gas station
    Pumps up the nation
    A tough cross to bear
    Oops no underwear

And then at the end of the forth section it goes
Come on dear, you gotta use it
    That's a girl,don't you blow it
Come on with me, turn me on now
Roll me over if the world makes you

    The sixth section goes

    I can't move faster
    My face is plaster
    These breast are bangin'
    Abdominal Master

The eight section I couldn't quite get either, but the end is "french kiss", not "won't you kiss me now."

General CommentI saw them in Boise when they did the eternal tour summer 09'. This song was amazing, I was in awe the whole time. The lyrics kind of make me think of America's sick dependency on oil. The title and some of the lyrics take me there but I'm probably wrong, just throwing it out there.
