"What's a Fella Gotta Do" as written by Mark O. Everett and Kelly Logsdon....
I'm so bored
I wanna get in trouble
Buried alive
Beneath my life's rubble
I'll tell you what's really making me sad
Your disinterest is driving me mad
You're so fine
If you were mine I'd love you up
Give me a sign my darling
Well, I can shine
If you'd just let me know

What's a fella gotta do
To spend a little time with you?

I'm so tired of feeling I could be more
I need a purpose
What am I for?
What I'd like
After close inspection
Is for you to look in my direction
You're so fine
If you were mine I'd love you up
Give me a sign my darling
Well I can shine
If you'd just give it up

What's a fella gotta do
To spen a little time with you?

I'm so bored
I'd welcome a disaster
Anything to make the heart beat faster
But I got a feeling we could be so right
Make my day
I'll make your night

What's a fella gotta do
To spend a little time with you?

My OpinionSomething about this song, it's that neo-sixties-ish style, and Mr. Everett's gruffness works so very well here, it ALL works so well here. It's perfect.

    But I got a feeling
    we could be so right,
    Make my day
    I'll make your night.

I've enjoyed Eels' past lyrics a whole lot, but those on this album (like these) strike me as being especially tight (succinct).
