The time we took this from you
Did you know you were never gonna take it back?
I'm sorry we left you behind
You need to know it was never our plan of attack
The time we took your crown
We never wanted to become ememies
I'm sorry we made up your mind
(You can't bring us down)

And you'll never know, never get it right
Coming in for you, going in for the kill
Just like we always will
And you'll never know, never get it right
Yeah, come on! Woo!

I'm sorry for what we've done
But time has come to throw this shit away
I'm as surprised as you
I didn't know how deep it would cut your pride
We've gone and left you behind
No apologies for what we've done
We're better than your kind
(You can't bring us down)

And you'll never know, never get it right
Coming in for you, going in for the kill
Just like we always will
And you'll never know, never get it right
Yeah, come on!

You can't bring us down (We're the best in town)
You can't bring us down (We're the best in town)
You can't bring us down (We're the best in town)
You can't bring us down
We're the best in town
Oh!

And you'll never know, never get it right
And you'll never know, never get it right

And you'll never know, never get it right
Coming in for you, going in for the kill
Just like we always will
And you'll never know, never get it right
Coming in for you, coming in for you
Just like we always do

Woo!

    General CommentJust a guess:

Some fellow band (from the same area) didn't break through to a larger audience and are now jealous of The Blackout. Looks like this could be a response to them. If you read the lyrics with this in mind it kind of fits, right?

General CommentIt really does fit what Martinos said. it sounds like they are basically telling someone that they aren't sorry that they flourished and made it big while they didn't. They are telling them to just let it go and shut the fuck up about it..
