This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains climb into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's lying
They climb into your eye never to die
They say the man, he used to sail on his journey
And laid a trap so much the pilgrims for their money
He placed his gold all over this world
And in morning as he looked out over Cairo
He makes his process and his smoked them in a barroom
He could not die and we never found out why
This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains climb into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's lying
They climb into your eye never to die
This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains climb into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's crying
They climb into your eye never to die
No one's getting older
Everybody's feeling young
Journey's almost over now
There's hope for everyone
This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains close
(This is the end of time)
This is the end of the tracks
Where the fountains close
(This is the end of our life)
Where the fountains climb into your eye
Nobody's hurting and nobody's lying
They climb into your eye never to die

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
This song's about inside jokes between mates and stuff...
Pretty cool.
A tribute to ancient Egypt perhaps? Secret alphabets being hieroglyphics, looking out over Cairo suggests a Pharaoh, references to eternal life, hidden gold, mystical Eastern vibe to the song etc etc.
Not CLIMB, but FLY. That line, out of any of them, should not have been gotten wrong! It's written in the liner notes. A terrific song, brilliant. I think it's about searching out the fountain of youth.
My guess this song is inspired by the movie The Fountain imdb.com/title/tt0414993/
But you never know with Sergio, because he almost has his own Secret alphabet indeed;) He turns to be a great lyricist, not only music writer. No wonder Kasabian are the greatest rock band of our time!
This song reminds me of the Mighty Boosh :)
