Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!

(Ready Go)(Let me go)
Continuously searching
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
the outcome is this style
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
bring it on, here we go

(Ready Go)(Let me go)
The tower dispatches noiz
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
catch our words

Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!

No way, win the day
No way, I win the day
I dont care what anyone tells me
No way, win the day
No way, I win the day
it doesnt matter what I sacrifice to make this happen
Let go of this moment

(Ready Go)(Let me go)
Time is limited
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
write off the changing days
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
Only 1 day?
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
Dont make me laugh.
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
Im after no.1

Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!

No way, win the day
No way, I win the day
Living through without control without worry
No way, win the day
No way, I win the day
Risking everything, grant me my wish

Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!

No concern about the rest, bring up the voltage
All for one, right now! Revolution!

(Ready Go)(Let me go)
Continuously searching
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
the outcome is this style
(Ready Go)(Let me go)
bring it on, here we go

Listen to my evolution!!
Listen to my evolution!!

No way, win the day
No way, I win the day
I dont care what anyone tells me
No way, win the day
No way, I win the day
it doesnt matter what I sacrifice to make this happen
Let go of this moment

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
