Can't imagine you were loving anybody else
The way that you loved me,
Can't imagine you were touching anybody else
The way that you touched me,
Oh I tried so hard to forget you

Those hands that are holding her are hurting me now
And I feel it in my bones
When you make her laugh, I cry
Oh your words are like fire when you’re telling her
all the little promises you promised me first
But what I miss the most - what no one else should know
Are those hands

Right now you’re probably helping her with her coat
When I'm the one that's feeling so cold
I can almost feel your fingers running down her skin
When they're supposed to be mine
Oh and those eyes are open wide

Those hands that are holding her are hurting me now,
And I feel it in my bones
When you make her laugh, I cry
Oh and your words are like fire when you’re telling her
all the little promises you promised me first
But what I miss the most - what no one else should know
Are those hands

You made me a goddess
Now I feel like a fool
Once so tender
Now so cruel

Those hands that are holding her are hurting me now
And I feel it in my bones
When you make her laugh, I cry
Oh your words are like fire when you’re telling her
all the little promises you promised me first
Now I am left with nothing ‘cause you gave it away
It kills me that you're loving her the very same way
And what I miss the most - what no one else should know
Are those hands.

God I miss those hands

General CommentWhat a fab song. I think everyone has experienced that feeling when you see the person you love (or once loved) with someone else. Whilst obviously feeling jealous, there is also an overwhelming feeling of sadness and the realisation that the person you love has moved on and you are no longer their number one. Even if you were dumped long ago it's still a horrible feeling and brings the pain flooding back.
