"Hearts Collide" as written by and Billie Joe/pritchard Armstrong....
Love conquers every time
When two hearts come to collide
You're the card in my valentine
And the candy hearts in my mind

And true love is the rule
And you're nobody's fool

The ship's coming to the light
And it was love at first sight
Baby, babe, you're the light
And the flame burns in my mind's eye

When triumph bleeds into bliss
And I knew it from the first kiss

Tonight, hearts collide
Hearts collide
Hearts collide

When triumph bleeds into bliss
And I knew it from the first kiss

Tonight, hearts collide
Hearts collide
Hearts collide
Tonight, hearts collide
Hearts collide
Hearts collide.
Tonight, hearts collide
Hearts collide
Hearts collide.
Tonight, hearts collide
Hearts collide
Hearts collide.

General CommentCorrections: "Where so hearts go to collide?" should be "when two hearts come to collide,"
and, "The shapes come into the light" should be "The ship's coming to the light." These lyrics hadn't been confirmed when I submitted them, this is just what I heard..
As for the meaning, I think it's pretty straightforward. This is a classic, optimistic love song from one person to another, and I quite like it. :]

General CommentA life of color clear in my head
    Smiles, tears, every word said

    Fading, fading, fading away
Now all my memories blur to gray

The only clear memory that still comes through
Is of the day that I met you

General CommentI think the lyrics are supposed to be a throwback to a 60's pop love song type of thing. But it's basically just about falling in love with someone.
