"Three Decades" as written by and Joshua Hayward Faris Badwan....
Three decades in Canada and now you plan
To leave your home and lead a life more valiant.

Feather-white she occupies the virgin berth
Climb to her as if there were no barriers

Don't give up, stand tall, this is your hour
Full of joy the boy within must try.

Forget your regrets.

Cavernous imagery grips your mind
Don't let your fear dictate your life.

Forget your regrets.

Don't lose your purpose, this is your hour
Feather-white before your hand she lies
Don't give up, stand tall, this is your hour
Three decades and now you lead your life.

My OpinionI really like to think this song (at least the title) has something to do with Joy Division, because it's been 30 years (3 decades) since the release of their debut Unknown Pleasures.

My OpinionI don't know maybe it's someone that passed 30 years (3 decades) with fear, not being able to do nothing because of his year, and he was isolated on Canada. Or, I can think of someone that passed 30 years depedent of his parents and now hes ready to lead your life, or someone that was always scared of confess his love for some girl... I don't really know
