My Interpretation
"Out of the egg of the mother Stagnated spaces and your cold-blooded brother Into the mud until the summertime comes Into the mud and back to your blood"

This is quite surreal part of the song, I think it represents the cycle of life and death. Out of the egg, stagnated spaces as life, into the mud as your death, back to your blood as rebirth.

(Save your serpent) - Serpent is used as symbol in many cultures/religions. This line could mean "Save your symbolism (for yourself)"

"Your talismans can't help you now so cast them to the stony ground We can't evolve much farther if we let them weigh us down We worship the rivers and the seas We worship the stone The only gospel that we know is encoded in our bones"

This part says that religious artefacts are in fact worthless and that religions are slowing our "evolution" - (anti-stem cell research, homophobia etc...). We worship many things, some of which may be even funny to worship, as my little T-Rex toy. The only gospel that we know is our DNA, in which is coded our past, our ancestors and everything in it is true.

You should remember that you came from Dinosaurs of ROCK (and other things like simple Dinosaurs or simple rock )from ancient times and when you realize this fact that you were created by law of nature you should be happy that you live and that you will pass your chemical elements to something else after your death.

ThatÂ´s just what I think this song could mean. You should try to find your own interpretation of the song, songs like this are amazing poetry.
