When I'm afraid the better days are never coming again
I imagine your face and I keep on moving
I'm bound to cry, destined to fly and guaranteed to die
But till the end I've got your face and I keep on moving

I lost my mom when I was only twelve
I was robbed with a gun when I was 21
I crashed my car when I was drunk again
And now, got no friends, got no money
But I keep on learning

You can build a life and have it broken down
You can choose a path and get turned around
You can hate yourself and fall in love again
As for me, I've lost friends, lost lovers
But I've still got my soul

When I'm afraid the better days are never coming again
I imagine your face and I keep on moving
I'm bound to win, I'm bound to loose and all the way I have to choose
Sometimes it's right, more times it's wrong
But I keep on moving

You can build a life and have it broken down
You can choose a path and get turned around
You can hate yourself and fall in love again
As for me, I've lost friends, lost lovers
But I've still got my soul

On a journey through my head, I stumble on a mess
The bad things from my past are buried, not dead
They haunt you like ghosts, begging me to let them go
But they make me who I am
And I wouldn't change anything

You can build a life and have it broken down
You can choose a path and get turned around
You can hate yourself and fall in love again
As for me, I've lost friends, lost lovers
But I've still got my soul

General CommentFirst comment, always the toughest one being as there is no one else's response to base my view against.

To me, this song is somebody who is telling us about life through their interpretation of it.

"You can build a life and have it broken down" < Don't get complacent in life, things CAN be taken away from you.

"You can choose a path and get turned around" < You may want to be something and be determined like hell to do it, but you may come across a dead end. (To me this line is saying about widening your options)

I could sit here and say what I think about each line but you should get the general jist of where I would go with it.

General CommentI think this is just their view on life. It says some things that have an effect on how their life is, which makes me think that they don't want it to seem like everyone should have the same view on life.

General Commentthis song is influenced by vocalist Nathan Leone's mother dying in a car accident when he was 12 years old.You have to learn to fall in love with even the horrible moments of your life, because they make you who you are. Lyrically, this is quite personally; I talk about the bad things that have happened in my life. It's a realization that you are on a journey in life to enlightenment and happiness and that even great things can come out of tragedy.
