The way it goes, is the way it goes.
I'm all right to go
So go... go.
They took their things and headed for the coast
Denied of all in life they needed most
Love's forgotten child
Born into the wild

Come to the coast
It will find you

The fallout from the California glow
Toronto's frozen over, this every man should know
I've forgotten now
Won't you show me how?

So run away, just run away from here.
Just run away, just run away my dear...
'Cause love's forgotten child...
So go into the wild

Somebody took me away...something controls me...

My OpinionCalifornia, as usual is where most people need to go to make it big... and everyone from a place where famous people do not exist (Toronto) those people eventually forget those places even exist or what even went on after a while on the coast. They were essentially wild animals because they didn't grow up in the glow. And now the coast controls them. I assume he hates California just like everyone else, Example (Tool - AEnema)

General CommentThis is quite different than what I'm used to from Devin. This song really displays Devin's ability to incorporate his very recognizable sound that has been established with SYL and his previous work with softer, more pop-like sounds (especially toward the end). I really enjoy it.

Also, what Bruce said makes perfect sense.
