upon a dream I sit
along the moonlit sky
dreaming the dreamer's dream
and let the passers by

I dream the dream of dreamer's,
seabirds, non-disbelievers,
hi-archs, sires, landing on spires
high roads, fly zones, weary on my bones
keepers, seekers, liers and deceivers

and in this dream I sit
so I can make me money
and on the dream I dream
so I can taste that honey
I dream the dream of dreamer's,
seabirds, non-disbelievers,
hi-archs, sires, landing on spires
high roads, fly zones, weary on my bones
keepers, seekers, liers and deceivers
say so, I know
my way, I know

upon a dream, I dream
upon a dream, I dream

upon a dream, I dream

General Commentisn't it funny that every Buckley fan that has typed his name in Napster or some P2P program has this song yet nobody knows who the hell sings this! I think it's a beautiful song but that sure isn't Jeff's voice and what does Lilac Seasons have to do with dreaming the dreamer's dream? Jeff has a song called Lilac Wine so my guess is this song was renamed appropriately / opportunistically in order for someones music to ride in on the tails of Jeff's popularity, BUT if you did this, wouldn't you reveal your identity after a while to benefit from such a hoax? Hmmmmmm.. Hello perpetrator? REVEAL YOURSELF NOW! because your song is cool and you deserve credit.

General Commentlanding on spires - potentially a church steeple, hence landing on dogmas or landing on someones sword and dying for their beliefs ... brilliant! A good song has to paint good imagery with words, like hi archs seabirds, fly zones, and I also like the use of non-disbelievers, a clever usage to fill the syllable gap with something other than just what it means - believers. haha
