"Impending Doom" as written by Mark Hunter, Robert Arnold, Jim Lamarca, Chris Spicuzza, Matt Devries and Andy Herrick....
Impending doom
Can't escape
Pitch black at the lake
The snow is falling can't escape
The evil approaches
I can't save you

These problems don't have solutions
We're rotting inside this cell
Our bodies are like a prison
Only death will save us from this hell

Jagged stairs leading nowhere
The clock is staring at me
Running away from the pain
The evil approaches
No one to save me

These problems don't have solutions
We're rotting inside this cell
Our bodies are like a prison
Only death will save us from this hell

Have you ever seen blood in the moonlight?
It appears quite black
Have you ever seen spiders crawling
On the grave?

The grave that gave us the fear of loneliness
That turned us into hellions.
We're like slugs in the sun
Tearing us apart.

These problems don't have solutions
We're rotting inside this cell
Our bodies are like a prison
Only death will save us from this hell.

General CommentThis song is about how we never escape or solve the problems presented to us, we only find an alternative that seems like 'the lesser of two evils' but, in truth, it is not; no matter what path we choose to take we are going to be led back to our deaths; and it is only this end that will release us from the impeding doom that is, itself, death...

General CommentIm not 100% sure, but i have a feeling from the flow of the lyrics that this is another of Mark Hunters Movie songs.. along the lines of The Flame, Pictures in the Gold Room, Disapearing Sun, etc.. I have NO idea what movie or if i am correct. It just has that feel to me.
