raise your arms for victory
drink to love, drink to me
we’ll start over
we’ll start new this time
with all stars and shadow
and we’re all stars, I know, I know
around a thanks-giving moon
a misty light imprecise and still from a jagged bright sickle moon
the big man stared him down in the middle afternoon
hid the blood and the metal
with his hands
with his hands, with his hands...
oh, is that a star?
oh, shallow victory...

General CommentI can't believe there aren't any comments on this one. It's his most popular song.

I saw him perform this solo once. I don't think he's the first to pull off the loop pedaling one-man-band thing, but he sure does it well.
