"Cold Dust Girl" as written by and Jonathan Marks Peter Dougherty....
Oh, don't overflow. Light her up and let her go.
Oh, don't overflow. Light her up and let her go.

If you're so clever and cool, who ever could turn you on.
But I'm so clever it takes no effort to burn you on.
You're just a cold dust girl.

Oh, don't overflow. Light her up and let her go.
Oh, don't overflow. Light her up and let her go.

If you're so clever and cool, who ever could turn you on.
But I'm so clever it takes no effort to burn you on.
You're just a cold dust girl.

General CommentFor all the girls out there that knows exactly what turns you on... power to you. The cold dust girl isn't stuck up, she just knows what she wants. All the guys don't have the right moves to please, but this particular guy is confident that he is clever enough to make the cold dust girl burn. Oh myyy... Light me up and let me go! LOL!

    General CommentAlmost entirely correct.
    Its "haute tone overflow".

    Good song though.
If i had to guess, I'd say its about some girl who thinks she's
better than everyone else. But this one guy like, tamed her?
    i have no idea.

General CommentThis guy, who's either super confident (or extremely cocky!) is telling the audience that the best way to deal with one of his kind (cool confident cocky girl) is to follow the rule of "less is more" (Oh, don't overflow. Light her up and let her go.) This specifically indicates to make her engines run (turn her on, tease her) and then leave her like nothings happened.

Again he is reminding her that only someone with the same cleverness and coolness could only do this to her; and such that someone is him (EGO). Not only he is flaunting this, he is also saying that to him this is easy (therefore this is a challenge to anybody else but him).

He calls her a "Call Dust Girl", however if you think about it, the song is dedicated to her (as a criticism and his how easy it is to him to have this power to toy and play with her). On the other hand, wouldn't that make him a Call Dust Guy? LOL
