The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
I could even save the love.
The sun isn't already setting but it is cold and dark.
You give me a very weak smile after the voice
sound like crying and the words continue impassively.
It was noble and awe. Why where you smile?
The sun sink for making moon light.
You always stay and smile by me like that.
drown my body in the fragile routine
I paint on the star night without you who I have to light.
But how i painted on it, it is still dark.
mumble is quietly end too wide lonely space is not comfort
The phrases suddenly come from my mind are almost memory.
The sighs display in the window are sheeting and
cover my view like tender cocoon.
drift float between wizened wave grief blooms
I change stand with you. I forgot by you, it is better than
You always stay and smile by me like that.
I thought the missing day.
I sailing the star ocean but I lost my oar so can't move from here.
the man vanished at the star night. the man floating in the star ocean
paint distant sky like take your hand
the voice call me to fog up side. the voice looking for you
The night's door is open which makes me think about you

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

The lyrics booklet that comes with the "devils in bedside" includes an English translation. I typed these lyrics from that.
