"Two Hands" as written by Dan Haseltine, Charlie Lowell, Stephen Daniel Mason, Matt Odmark, Jeremy Lutito and Gabe Ruschival....
I?ve been living out of sanity
I?ve been splitting hairs and blurring lines
I am a house that is divided
In my heart and in my mind

I use one hand to pull closer
The other to push you away
If I had two hands doing the same thing
Lifted high, lifted high

I have a broken disposition
I?m a liar who thirsts for the truth
And while I ache for faith to hold me
I need to feel the scars and see the proof

And if we just keep digging we can reach the foundation
Of our souls
And if we just keep cutting all the chains from our hearts
We?ll lose control

And it feels like giving in
It feels like starting over
It feels like waking up, and you know it?s coming
It feels like a brand new day
Open your eyes

General CommentI totally related with this song. Everyday is a struggle to do what's right and follow the one and only true God but my human nature wants to follow the ways of the world. Needless to say, it's an awesome song.

Song MeaningThis song seems pretty clear. You can't have two gods. You have to fully focus on God and not just halfway. BOTH hands.

General CommentThis song describes my life and the battle that goes on in my spirit. I long for the life that I once had when I was obeying God and in his will and although I know I could be in that place today, I choose to give in to my old nature and continue being stuck in this thick mud that I can't walk out of.
All I have to do is choose which side I'm on. Seems so easy.....
