This path leads into dark...

In shrouding veil of thickening dusk,
In the caress of darkening woods
There winds my path, narrow and fading

Let this twilight linger upon me
Moon and stars take over when sun has fled
And bring her scent to me
Bring her scent to me

May the blowing of winds cease
And all birds fall silent from singing
May the dreary waters lay still
And hands of time stop turning

So in forms of evening mist
I can feel her slender grace
In shades of deep green
I can drown in her tender eyes

Now that her light has gone away,
All the searching has lead astray,
These journeys are filled with craving
Each moment with loss

What a cruel world left for me to roam alone
What a scornful fate, took my light away

Neither the glittering dew on moors, nor the the whispering wind in dales
But only these shadows of green can remind me of her
Can remind me of her

May the blowing of winds cease
And all birds fall silent from singing
May the dreary waters lay still
And hands of time stop turning

So in forms of evening mist
I can feel her slender grace
In shades of deep green
I can drown in her tender eyes

What a cruel world left for me to roam alone
What a scornful fate, took my light away

What a cruel world left for me to roam alone
What a scornful fate, took my light away

General Comment"...This path leads into dark...

In shrouding veil of thickening dusk,
In the caress of darkening woods
There winds my path, narrow and fading

Let this twilight linger upon me
Moon and stars take over when sun has fled
And bring her scent to me
    Bring her scent to me"

either the place where she lies, or a place that reminds him of her.

"May the blowing of winds cease
And all birds fall silent from singing
May the dreary waters lay still
And hands of time stop turning"

asking the world to basically stop so he can have a breif moment to remember her.

"So in forms of evening mist
I can feel her slender grace
    In shades of deep green
I can drown in her tender eyes"

    him remembering her.

"Now that her light has gone away,
All this searching has lead astray,
These turns are filled with greaving and the moments with lust

What a cruel world left for me to roam alone
These journeys are filled with craving, these moments with loss

Neither the glittering dew on moors, nor the the whispering wind in dales
But only these shadows of green can remind me of her
    Can remind me of her"

regretting her loss, and having hatred for the world, now the "shadows of green" could be the forests?

General Commentthere's a verse performed that isn't in those set lyrics :

Now that all light has gone away.
All this searching has lead astray.
These journeys are filled with craving.
    These moments with loss.

What a cruel world left for me to roam alone.
What a scornful fate, took my light away.

wel thats what it sounds like to me
