Step back, give me some room to breathe
I think it's time to pour me another drink
You think you know, but you ain't got a fucking prayer
And we're going nowhere
We're flat-lining with a pocket full of kryptonite
We're going down with a soul full of dynamite
We grabbed the world by the balls on a truth-or-dare
The more we fall, the less we care

We are
The scars on your world of regret
We are
The scars that you hope to forget
We are

So light another candle for your sins
Slit another throat for innocence
Let me know if I'm making myself clear
'Cause we're going nowhere
We're main-lining on a bottle full of HIV
And slow-burning on a dimebag of apathy
We won the war on a rigged game of solitaire
The more we learn, the less we care

We are
The scars on your world of regret
We are
The scars that you hope to forget
We are
We are
We are

All we are
The walk of the dead
The voice in your head
All we are
The hate that you feed
The fear that you breed
All we are
We're taking a stand
The blood of the land
All we are
The voice in your head
The march of the dead

We are
The scars on your world of regret
We are
The scars that you hope to forget
We are
The scars on your world of regret
We are
The scars that you hope to forget
We are
We are
We are

My InterpretationThis song talks about people who act "wrong" and do not even care. They think we are all guilty of doing nothing to change our behaviour.
"soul full of dinamite" terrorists who just kill and know they are not going to obtain their objective
"world by the balls" climate change and pollution (do we really care as we should?)
"the more we fall the less we care" The worse it gets the less we talk about it
"light candle for your sins" we son't try to solve what we do, we just say sorry in a certain way

My doubt is who is he refering at with "we are"?
