"Hit Me Baby One More Time (Cover)" as written by and Martin Karl Sandberg....
Oh baby, baby
How was I supposed to know
That something wasn't right here
Oh baby, baby
I shouldn't have let you go
And now you're out of sight, yeah
Show me, how you want it to be
Tell me baby
'Cause I need to know now what we've got

[Chorus]
My loneliness is killing me
I must confess, I still believe
(Still believe)
When I'm not with you I lose my mind
Give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

Oh baby, baby
The reason I breathe is you
Girl you got me blinded
Oh baby, baby
There's nothing that I wouldn't do
That's not the way I planned it
Show me, how you want it to be
Tell me baby
'Cause I need to know now what we've got

[Chorus]

I must confess that my loneliness
Is killing me now
Don't you know I still believe
That you will be here
And give me a sign
Hit me baby one more time

[Chorus]

General CommentThe meaning of this song is quite obvious... girl wants to keep her guy. In this case, guy wants to keep his girl. haha. Anyway I like this take on Britney's song. ABR isn't my favorite band, and I don't really like their vocalist's tone, but I do like this song :D

General CommentEvidently its not about boys and girls if you knew ABR's religional background. If you dont like their tone then dont listen to them. This song to them is about walking away from the Lord, and him showing them that he loves and wants them[verse 1]. The Chorus is about feeling lonely without the Lord, and needing him there. Needing the Lord for life[verse 2].
