"Talking Hotel Arbat Blues" as written by and Herman Hupfeld....
We were standing in the center of the occupation
Caught between the ground & the grey grey sky
Baby got a little bit of bad information
Baby take a number, baby wait in line

I don't know but I've been told every little thing has been bought and sold
I don't know but I've been told
I don't know but I've been told every little thing has been bought and sold
I don't know but I've been told

There was a guy who came in from the cold but he's never gonna get past face control
I don't know but I've been told

Baby's out of step with the occupation
No one's gonna notice if you disappear
I've heard something about reclamation
Do anything you want but just not here

I don't know but I've been told every little thing has been bought and sold
I don't know but I've been told
I don't know but I've been told every little thing has been bought and sold
I don't know but I've been told
I don't know but I've been told every little thing has been bought and sold
I don't know but I've been told

General CommentI think this has something to do with Arbat Street in Moscow. A lot of this album references Russia actually.

General Commentyeah, it was mentioned in a review that he went to a club that wouldn't let people in unless they were pretty or famous and they called it face control.
