Her eyes were closed but she could see her sky
They're ten feet deep and no one knows they're in it
They're all too busy living

She takes a drink to see the atmosphere
This nights lost and soon she's on her way home
She thinks she's finally found him

She holds her breath and for the last time
The lights flash red, she knows that she is in it
Because she's always seen it

She was holding back
Now she's holding on
She was ten feet deep before they finally found her
And she couldn't recover

We are the atmosphere
We are the waiting sky
We are the atmosphere
We cannot die

We are the atmosphere
We are the waiting sky
We are the atmosphere
We cannot die

Her eyes were cold but she could feel them cry
They were ten feet deep before they knew they were in it
Because they're all just sinners

She takes a drink to see the atmosphere
This nights lost and soon she's on her way home
She thinks she's finally found him (Finally found him)

Daylight take us
Lead us on our way
On our way

Daylight take us (There's a fire and I feel it inside my chest)
Lead us on our way (There's a fire and I feel it in every breath)
On our way (I know we meant for more than this, daylight take us, lead us, on our way)

We are the atmosphere
We are the waiting sky
We are the atmosphere
We cannot die

We are the atmosphere
We are the waiting sky
We are the atmosphere
We cannot die

Daylight take us
Lead us on our way
On our way
We cannot die

Daylight will take us
Lead us on our way
On our way

I think this song is about a suicide.

"She takes a drink to see the atmosphere This nights lost and soon she's on her way home She thinks she's finally found him" Means she drowned herself

The chorus is basically what the people around her think. "we cant do anything but watch"

my favorite line in the song is "She was holding back, now shes holding on"

    Great song

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
