For those who work so hard
And never see their children
Never see their children grow
Into the gifts they give them

This is life is all unknown
Gotta listen to their laughter
Everyone must be heard now
Even in the dark

For those who seek no answers
Keep it from the table
Ignorance is eaten up
When everyone must be fed

This life is constant hunger
See it in the dreamers
Believe in the believers of never-ending love
An endless kind of love

Even in the darkness
Whoa...
Even in the dark

Find your calling
Even in the dark
Find your calling

Find your calling
Even in the dark
Find your calling
You gotta find your calling
Even in the dark
Everyone must be heard
Even in the darkness

Even in the dark
Even in the darkness
Whoa...
Even in the dark

My InterpretationIt's about how our culture is so materialistic, and we have our priorities so mixed up, valuing the material before living creatures. She sings how we must try and find our calling and find meaning in our lives despite the obvious materialism and other factors working against that goal.
