"I'm Moving On" as written by Will Jennings and Joe Sample....
Hey!
Oh yeah.... feels good

I've had it with your lies
I've always had to hear
That I'm not good enough for you to be near
I've given all my heart, you only give me tears
So I ain't giving you the best of my years

Baby
You've been fired from hurting me
It's time you go find another job (yeah)

Chorus:
I'm moving on
I'm feeling strong
I'm good as gone
Out of your heart babe
I'm moving on
Guess who got strong
Baby look at me I'm free!

Every time I'm up, you love to bring me down
I've had enough of you just jerkin' me round
I tell it to your face before you close the door
The lights of you ain't welcome round here no more

I bet you thought you'd end up leaving me
That was just a fantasy
But baby the tail has wagged the dog, yeah

Chorus
I'm moving on
I'm feeling strong
I'm good as gone
Out of your heart babe
I'm moving on
Here's my new song
Baby look at me I'm free!

Ohh I'm letting you go (I'm letting you go)
No, that is the end of our show yeah

Chorus
I'm moving on
I'm feeling strong
I'm good as gone
Out of your heart babe
I'm moving on
Here's my new song
Baby look at me I'm free! (To fade)

General CommentHow can this site not have one of the greatest [coughlamestcough] songs of all time? I was appalled! Hey Bogan Buddy, if you're reading this, I've done it!

The tail has wagged the dog? LOL Please.

What meaning is there to interpret? The song is about someone who has copped emotional abuse. Now that he has left his partner, he feels happy and free. Duh.

    General CommentOoooooh yeah totally dawg!

This is like our conversation page seeing as no one knows the true gayness of Scott Cain.

This song also holds a special place in my heart.

But at the same time, in the immortal words of Stan Zemanek: He's "lower than a snake's belly."

Man, I soooooooo have to go to Harvey Norman
