I can't breathe into space that's filled with your sound.
Can't call a spade a spade in this town.
Dug a hole; now I can't get out.
I can't figure it,
I can't figure it out.
Out.
Keep your head up high.
Keep mine dug in the ground.
Hide away the love that I've found.
Built a wall.Now I can't get round.
I can't figure it,
I can't figure it out.
Out.
Always on my mind.
I can feel you now.
Don't think I can find you now;
Not this time.
You can tell on me.
I can tell on you too.
Act as though you have forgotten
All that trouble you've gotten into my dear.
Don't believe it's you
Always on my mind.
I can feel you now.
Don't think I can find you this time.
Not this time.
Not this time.
Not this time.
Always on my mind.
I can feel you now.
Don't think I can find you this time.
Not this time.
You this time.
Not this time.

General CommentI love this song soo much, its complexity and how there's SOO much meaning to the words, but you just can't figure it out. :P

Well, this may not even be close to what may be the real story, but i think it's about a guy who fell in love -- DEEPLY inlove, which i think the line "Dug a hole; now I can't get out " was referring to as a metaphor. But as he's falling inlove with her and go further on in their relationship, she ends up hurting him really badly, maybe cheated on him or just broken up with him. For this reason, he closes off everyone, and doesn't want to have to experience that hurt he dealt before.

Consequently, from doing that, he ended up feeling empty as ever , for example "Hide away the love that I've found, Built a wall. Now I can't get round". I think the wall was a metaphor for him building walls around his heart and emotions. He still has feelings for this girl, but it's hurting him more knowing that she's moving on, and he can't do anything about it. Lyrics that emphasize her moving on is "Keep your head up high,Keep mine dug in the ground". She's slowly drifting away, ie "Don't think I can find you now; Not this time".

Just a thought, and my opinion. (:

General Commenti think this song is about liking someone you are close with, like having a crush on a friend. and you decide to man up, and tell them and they just give you mixed signals, although they "keep their heads up high" because it makes them feel better about themselves, being liked. but your head is "deep in the ground" because you don't know how they feel, but you still like them a lot.

General Commentwell i think this song is about falling deep in love and putting your all in the relationship, then being broken up with. I think its about still being in love and remembering what you had (hence the "i can feel you now") but not being able to have the one person you want..
And when he says "act as though you have forgotten all the trouble you have gotten into" I think the person is trying to act like every things okay, like nothing ever happened between them and they're all friends. And where he says "i can't figure it out" i think it might be that the person may have gave you false hope, and then takes it away.
I think this song is about how you just drop everything for one person and then watch them walk away, it distroys you inside (hence the "dug a hole now i can't get out") but you can't help but love them, which is where the "think about you all the time" I believe its about wanting to get over someone but you just can't ("i can't breathe in the space thats filled with your sound")
But that is just my opinion and how i relate to this amazing song(:
