You said, there's no way the days should feel this short, as soon as one ends, the other starts.
You said, all day I feel you're playing a part, when all you ever want to do was leave a mark.

Every day, another one wasted.
Every day you get up and face it.
Every day is a chance for redemption.

You said, time moves fast but you're still playing in park.
As every chance takes off... you don't depart.
But it's just the defense for all the moments that name and define what we do.
Well how about you?
We're all scared of breaking through.

There's gotta be that something more that gets me through the night.
I'm out of touch, it's obvious.
I'm out of place and over this.
There's gotta be that change that takes my path from wrong to right.

You said life is way too short... as soon as one ends, another starts.

General CommentOh my god, I'm not a HUGE fan of lights, I kind of think she gets annoying after awhile, but when I listened to this song, I was actually impressed. It's like a different side to her, it's more rockish I guess, I liked it :)

General CommentI think the song is about how you shouldn't let the past hold you back from changing the future because everyday is a new day and a new chance; well; for redemption...
