I know its wrong but I lie a lot
I like to think that its all I got
To keep you here interested in me

I think its cool that you love yourself
Whats even cooler is theres someone else
To make you feel better about this all

Still I stormed the stairs like I was twelve

And I would lope of my nose just to spite your face
Lock these doors and close the drapes
Im not coming out unless you get some answers soon
If the answers dont come Ill stick to my guns
Im entitled to this I feel Ive overcome
Getting stepped on and hurt and abused
And its gonna end bad so I guess Ill just end this now
Cause I sure as shit aint coming out

He grew a beard because he couldnt shave
It reached the floor, it seemed like days
And cameramen, they flooded my front yard

Denied request for the interviews
But told the world on local news
That shes happy and I could never be

Still I stormed the stairs like I was twelve

And I would lope of my nose just to spite your face
Lock these doors and close the drapes
Im not coming out unless you get some answers soon
If the answers dont come Ill stick to my guns
Im entitled to this I feel Ive overcome
Getting stepped on and hurt and abused
And its gonna end bad well I guess Ill just end this now
Cause I sure as shit aint coming out

Lyric CorrectionYou sure it's not 'And I would lop off my nose just to spite your face'?
I think that holds true to the original saying a little more.

General CommentIm thinking, it's about a guy who's really accepted the fact that his ex was cheating on him. All he wants in the world is a little closure, maybe a reason why he wasn't good enough or something he may have done to cause all these drama.

He's so frustrated with the way things played out that he removes himself from the world and locks himself in his room waiting for those answers, telling himself that he can do better, that he doesn't need any his ex, that he's "overcome getting stepped on and abused", but really its a lie and he still has strong feelings for her.

I think the verse about the cameramen, news, media, basically represents him losing everything, even the will to shave in his search for answers. The cameramen and media could represent his friends whom are constantly telling him, you don't need her, she's a bitch, find someone else. He "denies [their] requests", which pretty much means he disregards their advice because, really, he still loves her and all he wants is for her to be happy. (Which is romantic but doesn't work in the real world =P)

i'm sure most of us have felt this way before after a break-up when we're not the ones at fault. i know i have, and thats when i found this song, and fell in love with the gay blades!

    true story
oh and btw, he she as shit ain't comin' out ;) tbg4n
