"Mark The Lines" as written by and Mike Okubo Brandon Butler....
Lost in the woods of a dream
Call it an American one but we couldn't be further from home
So we rode, in the search of a place to rest our bloodshot eyes
But everything has a price to pay, everything has a price to pay
In the face of a stranger there was no sympathy to be found
So we'll draw from the innocence
Don't make me regret this
Mark the lines, right now
Mark the fucking lines
We have been double crossed
Let the pain begin
Mark the lines what’s
Done is done, we have been double crossed
Everything has a price to pay don't make me regret
This was never the way, still no answer
Will you stand by me when I collapse

Song Meaning"Lost in the woods of a dream
    Call it an American one
But we couldn't be further from home.
So we rode, in the search of a place
    To rest our bloodshot eyes"

about not being happy and tired; and about not having everything the way you thought it would be

"In the face of a stranger
There was some sympathy to be found
    So we'll draw the innocence
    Don't make me regret this"

trust was found in a person so he could finally let it out

    "Mark the line,
    Right now.
    Mark the fucking lines,
    We have been double crossed
    Let the pain begin
    Mark the lines
    What's done is done"

about creating a division in your feelings and between other people and yourself. probably a past experience is what fuels the flame.

"Everything has a price to pay don't make me regret."

    karma (:

"This was never the way, still no answer
Will you stand by me when I collapse?"

its about finding someone who understands who you are

My Interpretationi tend to have many interp. of this songs meaning but i.m going to have to say that i think this song is about record labels . . being in a working band and the relationships between friends and business and also doubting the true intentions of all of the above.
