"Stuck on Repeat" as written by Victoria Hesketh, Greg Kurstin and Joseph Goddard....
You've got me stuck on repeat
And I just can't seem to break free
You've got me stuck on repeat
I can only move to the beat

And I don't remember how it started
And I don't know how to stop
But every time I reach the bottom
Something pulls me right back to the top 'cause

Every time I try, every time I try
Every time I try to break free
Then something comes along, something comes along
Something comes along to intervene

My heart's skipping, skipping
And I don't know why, I know every part
But every time I try, every time I try
Something comes and pulls me back to the start

You've got me stuck on repeat
And I just can't seem to break free
You've got me stuck on repeat
I can only move to the beat

And I don't remember how it started
And I don't know how to stop
But every time I reach the bottom
Something pulls me right back to the top 'cause

Every time I try, every time I try
Every time I try to break free
Then something comes along, something comes along
Something comes along to intervene

My heart's skipping, skipping
And I don't know why, I know every part
But every time I try, every time I try
Something comes and pulls me back to the start

And it's you who makes me move to the beat
And it's you that's got me stuck on repeat

Every time I try, every time I try
Every time I try to break free
Then something comes along, something comes along
Something comes along to intervene

My heart's skipping, skipping
And I don't know why, I know every part
But every time I try, every time I try
Something comes and pulls me back to the start

You've got me stuck

My InterpretationI like to think of her talking about the beat under some sort of high too. But yeah, it is pretty self-explanitory. Amazing song!!!

General Commenthow has no one commented on this??!! amazing song...
i think it's pretty self-explanatory... it's about that feeling where you can't stop thinking about someone.

General CommentPersonally I think it's about being in a relationship that's going nowhere...trying to get out but not being able to. But I can see the not being able to stop thinking about someone thing could be right, too...hmm.

My Interpretationto me the song sounds like its about a controlling boyfriend, who won't let the relationship end and she is sort of in a daze about it all because he has her under his power..
however, it sounds like she's still in love with him but without knowing why:

    "My heart's skipping, skipping
    And I don't know why"

maybe the boyfriend keeps hurting her time after time, or they split up for a while but she always forgives him and they get back together, referring to the song title of the relationship starting over again and again.
    amazing song though! ;)
