"Happy Death Men" as written by and Ian Stephen/sergeant Mcculloch....
Happy death men stand in lines
Happy death men
Happy death men polish and shine
Happy death men

Happy death men
The last breath men
Happy death men
Take 'em to your heart
Happy death men
No regret men
Happy death men
Like to keep things dark

Happy death men stand in lines
Happy death men
Happy death men polish and shine
Happy death men

Happy death men
The last-breath men
Happy death men
Take 'em to your heart
Happy death men
No regret men
Happy death men
Like to keep things dark
Okay
Here we go...

General CommentGreat drum and guitar work in this one. And now it has at least one comment. Go Bunnymen!

General CommentThe phrase "Polish and shine" seems to be only of the only clues to its meaning. My prejudice would lead me to think that Ian may have been speaking of corporate ax men or kow towers to the corporate mentality. Is it just a serious subject of mortality turned on its head to produce silliness. Nursery rhymes often were written to disguise discontent with the rulers, movers and shakers of the day. Perhaps it's a British reference that this American listener may not be aware of. What is it exactly that the "Death Men" are standing in line for. Usually in mythology, Death is represented as a lone, cloaked figure with a scythe. This speaks of an organization of "Death Men".
