My foot's asleep and so is my brain
If I'm in pain then I don't feel it
My face should reveal it
I am grinning as they're cutting me in half
And all I can do is laugh

I am cold, unfeeling, and odd
You should thank God
That we are on separate sides of the state
Hope you're okay
At least I gave you something to hate

I am frantically flailing, woozy, inhaling
These fumes that won't put me to sleep
Taking drugs that won't cure me
So I'll just stay pure
Please relinquish the secrets you keep

I am cold, unfeeling, and odd
You should thank God
That we are separate sides of the state
Hope you're okay
At least I gave you something to hate

I am cold, unfeeling, and odd
You should thank God
That we are on separate sides of the state
Hope you're okay
At least I gave you something to hate

MemoryThis song very closely resembles a past relationship of mine. Eerily so, actually. Seeing as we are now on separate sides of the state. I do really miss this person sometimes, even made an effort to talk to them months after the fact. They seemed okay with the idea, asked me to call them and so I did. This simply resulted in my being yelled at for twenty minutes about how I ruined their life.

"At least I gave you something to hate."
