Put forth, by the hand of God
it was He
chosen to go?
How I've act, yet (don't) understand?
The gift of God
Has been given by His Son

I am in Christ
the son of God
I am in Christ
no longer condemned
I am in Christ
the son of God
I am in Christ
resurrected

Who can be against me
Who can compromise
The power of He is resting
It will glorify

Laid back, before your eye
It can only come this way
The price is paid by His blood
All I ask is who am I?

I am in Christ
the son of God
I am in Christ
no longer condemned
I am in Christ
the son of God
I am in Christ
resurrected

The lines I have
The lines of faith
The lines of pain and true belief
God has come
The time has come
to take hold of the promise
of the promise
of the promise

The time has to come to take hold
of the blood
of the blood
of the blood

w00t, somebody finally got brave and posted these lyrics! good job man. just a couple of things that i'm not sure about:

i've found another guy's transcription (here: periodicalsong.blogspot.com/2008/01/79-in-christ-living-sacrifice.html) that first verse is tough to decipher isn't it?

here's what he thought the first verse was. i think that the first line might be right(though i do think that it ends with "by the hand of God"); the second line i'm pretty sure is correct; the third line i'm really doubtful of, it might be right, but the "don't" makes to many syllables. i think it probably just ends with "understand" not "don't understand" or even "yet don't understand" i think the "yet" might be a different word, but i'm not sure; but the fourth line is definitely right. gosh, why couldn't he do it more clearly:

"Blood brought as an act of God I am he the chosen to go How I've acted yet [don't?] understand the gift of God has been given by His Son"

the chorus is pretty clear and you got it perfect. the little bridge thing after the chorus.. good except for the last word of the third line, but i don't have any alternatives, and the other guy's lyrics i found agree with you so i guess w/e.

second verse, good. i'd say that you got it more right than the other guy did, except for one little word: the price is paid BY his blood. ik, it sounds a little like "for" but it's the only thing that makes theological sense, and the last part of the word sounds a lot more like a "y" than an "r"

neways, as for the outro thing, i think that the other guy got it just about right, i've just got a couple of notes. i definitely agree with him about the first part, the lines have an implied "i need" b4 them (the first two do that is). i haven't any idea what the 3rd line is. i don't think that either of you got it quite right, but (again) since i don't have any alternative to suggest, w/e. you both got the 4th line right, it's definitely "God has come" idk where he got the idea that it might be "cornerstone" ::\ and on the last line, i think that it's first "of" then "you're":

"The lord to heal The lord to breathe The world to be I don't pity God has come (/Cornerstone?) The time has come So take hold of the promise [Of/You're?] the promise"

either way, great job on the lyrics man, amazing song.

here are the correct lyrics, correct them:

Birthright by the hand of God. I am he, chosen and called. I have answered and understand. The gift of God has been given by his Son.

I am in Christ, the Son of God. I am in Christ, no longer condemned. I am in Christ, the Son of God. I am in Christ, resurrected.

Who can be against me, who can compromise? The power of He is resting, I will glorify.

Laid bare, before your eyes. It can only come this way. The price is paid, by His blood. All I ask is who am I?

I am in Christ, the Son of God. I am in Christ, no longer condemned. I am in Christ, the Son of God. I am in Christ, resurrected. (resurrected, resurrected)

The right to live, the right to breathe. The right to be and to believe. God has come, the time has come to take hold of the promise, of the promise, of the promise. The time has come to take hold of the Blood, of the Blood, of the Blood, of the Blood...

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
