In regards to the meaning of this song:
Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.”
That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

not sure. Someone posted a remix cd on LJ (the one where they pick random songs for either just a character or a couple) and they had this song on the tracklist but it not up anymore sadly. I had to get my computer fix which erase all my music and i tried downloading it again but the person took the cd mix down.

It's an authorised copy from the BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" show, where they get an artist to perform one of their own songs and a cover (chosen by the host btw bunnys_speak_words)live on national radio. I think you can view the sessions on line somewhere if anyone's curious.<br /> <br /> I don't think its too bad really. I love the original song, but she has a decent vocal range and puts a sweet spin on it. As is quite normal with LL covers, they're either good, or horrendous, I'd imagine it's a little easier to start with a good song!
