"Hellhole Ratrace" as written by Christopher Owens and Chet White....
I'm sick and tired of the way that I feel,
I'm sick of dreaming and its never for real.
I'm all alone with my deep thoughts.
I'm all alone with my heartache and my good intentions.

I work to eat and drink and sleep just to live,
Feels like I'm never getting back what I give.
Ive got a sad song in my sweet heart.
And all I really ever need is some love and attention

And I don't want to cry my whole life through,
I want to do some laughing too.
So come on, come on, come on, come on, laugh with me.
And I don't want to die without shaking up a leg or two,
Yeah, I want to do some dancing too.
So come on, come on, come on, come on, dance with me.

Sometimes you've just gotta make it for yourself.
Sometimes sugar, it just takes someone else.
Sometimes you've just gotta make it for yourself.
Sometimes baby, you just need someone else.

And I don't want to cry my whole life through
I want to do some laughing too
So come on, come on, come on, come on, laugh with me.
And I don't want to die without shaking up a leg or two
Yeah, I want to do some dancing too
So come on, come on, come on, come on, dance with me.

Sometimes you've just gotta make it for yourself.
Sometimes honey, it just takes someone else.
Sometimes you've just gotta make it for yourself.
Sometimes darling, you just need someone else.

And I don't want to cry my whole life through
I want to do some laughing too
So come on, come on, come on, come on, laugh with me.
And I don't want to die without shaking up a leg or two
Yeah, I want to do some dancing too
So come on, come on, come on, come on, dance with me.

General Commentthis song is six minutes and fifty one seconds long.

and it still isn't long enough.

    everything about it perfect.

maybe it's cause it's so easy to relate to.

General CommentI'm pretty sure that it IS "shakin' up a leg or two", and it makes me happy too.

General Commenti love this song, but i'm kind of embarrassed and a little disappointed because i thought the words were "i don't wanna die without shakin' up a leg or two" hahaha. that image made me happy.

General CommentI keep listening and I have a slight change.

"im sick and tired of the way that i feel,
im sick of dreaming and its never for real"

    Shouldn't it be

"im sick and tired of the way that i feel,
im always dreaming and its never for real"

    ?

General CommentDoes anyone ever try to state what they feel what the song meaning on songmeanings.net anymore? Seems to me he is a failure at getting chicks he digs to sig him. Then he disparrages chicks that don't like him and tell them what they are doing wrong. He is singing not so much an argunment, but trying to translate an emotion lyrically. Emotions don't translate well. Brilliant song.
