Believe in me, for everything I've questioned now is clear.
I've found peace and I will be gone by the morning.
If only death can put to rest the demons in my head, I won't be scared.

Now I know it's too late.
(How will we sleep with our conscience wide awake?)
Now I'm sure we're all too lost to get home.

This empty space is just enough to prove we've been betrayed.
When every day is the same, we'd only kill ourselves to stay asleep.
Just understand this fear inside will not subside or bend,
So don't buy in this time.
With that said, our thoughts no longer complicate our plans.
I have destroyed myself to prove we all deserve a second chance.
Underneath the selfish prayers and promises we need,
We're all still weak.

I still cannot believe my eyes.
It's back and forth between our lives.
It's never right.
So don't believe all this, for god can be selfish,
And we control our time.
