In the beginning
there was only you.
I'm trying to remember
words still ringing true.

Just like the last time
you sought to a ?divine?
You sought control
and to get free will

But it's another day
And you're a different man.
Seems my memory has stalled.
Words mean nothing at all.

Sore thing
Let it sting
wherever it may
I won't see
reasonably
How I could be...

Here for another day.

General CommentI believe the lyrics are. "You sought to undermine."
and "I Don't see reasonably how I could be.."

As for the meaning. I think that this song is very expressive; that is, Shikhee is trying to use every aspect, her voice, the harsh aggressive sounds, the lyrics to show this guy that she won't forget the things he did, and even if he changed, "he's a different man", she still remembers the past and no matter what he says, "words mean nothing at all" she's not going to stay anymore. She wont be there "for another day." THe lyrics display the want to leave someone who is trying to change for the better, but the bad that they're changing from is always present in her memory, and she can't stay with him. And the music's aggressive tone sort of exudes Shikhee's own frustration and confusion. . . and anger.
