Eskimos stop to the start again
gleam shot tries
high rise and sky rise and i miss you
i missed you a lot today
paper chasing and the office ties you down down and
fucked with your ambition
to replace me
replace me, replace me
put your feet out

cylinders tend to the robots
gleams span on train tracks
run through some, missed you
missed you a lot today

up high at city racing lights
you went along and raised your expectations
to replace me
replace me, replace me
put your feet out

to replace me, replace me
replace me
put your feet out

My Interpretationthis song to me is about a girl who works to much and gets so caught up in the working world that it consumes her life and dreams and ambitions. All the while she slowly realized the down-to-earth boy she had wasn't going in the same direction with his life. She is replacing him, with her new life, the working world, the big city, company parties, and corporate boyfriends. every time i hear it, it sounds so sad, because he's narrating his own replacement.
