I have a job but
it doesn't pay
much but I can get by.
'Cause I have a car,
but it stays in park
outside my house
in the driveway.

I'll ask my friends
on the internet if
twenty-five cents is
cause for excitement but
they don't answer now, they don't answer now.
They don't answer now, they won't answer now.

I have a house but
it doesn't mean
much but I can get by.
'Cause I have it down to a science
and I have it down to a science when you'll call but
Martha will find out.
'Cause I know you don't think about me now.

I'm like a ghost but
they don't notice
much so I can
get by.
But they don't answer now, they don't answer now.
They don't answer now, they don't answer now.

Song Meaning:Cacie said on her tumblr that she wrote the lyrics to this after seeing one of her friends, who was stuck in a dead end job. they were acting like they were okay with how everything had turned out, but she could tell they hated it. Martha Webber isn't a real person.
