Why are you so paranoid
Don't be so paranoid
Don't be so
Baby, don't worry about it
Lady, don't even think about it
You worry bout the wrong things, the wrong things
You worry bout the wrong things, the wrong things
You worry bout the wrong things, the wrong things
You worry bout the wrong things, the wrong things

Tell me right now
You really wanna spend your whole life alone?
A little time out might do you good, might do us good
Before we be done for good
'Cause I could make it good I could make it hood
I can make you come I can make you go
I can make you high I can make you fly
Make you touch the sky hey maybe so
All of the time
You be up in mine checking through my cellphone baby no
You wanna kill the vibe on another night
Here's another fight oh here we go

Baby don't worry about it
Lady we'll go out to the floor
Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you
Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you

All of the time
You wanna complain about the nights alone
So now you're here with me
Show some gratitude leave the attitude way back at home
Yeah you see 'em look
Baby let 'em look give us cold looks 'cause we look cold
Yeah you heard about all the word of mouth
Don't worry about what we can't control
All the talk in the world lost in the world
Till you finally let that thing go
You wanna check in to the heartbreak hotel
But sorry we're closed

Baby don't worry about it
Lady we'll go out to the floor
Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you
Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you

Baby don't worry about it
Lady don't even think about it
You worry bout the wrong things, the wrong thing
You worry bout the wrong thing, the wrong thing
You worry bout the wrong thing, the wrong thing
You worry bout the wrong thing

Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you
Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you

Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you
Anyway they don't know you like I do
They'll never know you

    My Interpretation

Um, I´m going to proceed from my pov and the sitatuions me and the one I love is in. o this is only my interpretation of what this song is about. It could be wrong in some places.

Why are you so paranoid? Don't be so paranoid. Don't be so (He feels that she sometimes can be paranoid just because she doesn’t feels like that is the right way of living life)

Baby don't worry bout it Hey there don't even think about it You worry bout the wrong things The wrong things[x4] (He feels like she worries too much of what might happen in the heartbreak world, he wants to share his world with her)

All of the time you really wanna spend your whole life alone? (He wonders how on earth she can handle herself so well alone, so he wants her to experience things that he experienced) A little time out might do you good, might do us good (He wants her to be a bit less independent and more codependents on him; ´cause he is used to that everyone is co-depended) 'Fore we be done for good. (Until its running out of time for her being within their world) Cause I can make it good I can make it hood I can make you come I can make you go I can make it high I can make it fly Make you touch the sky Hey maybe so. (He wants to make her feel comfortable in his world, and he wants her to enjoy everything in the heartbreak world with him)

All the time you be up in my Checking through my cellphone Baby no You wanna kill the vibe on another night? (This is not in a situation that we could be in... but I guess the singer is pointing out that she’s worried about him having other affairs) Here's another fight (They fight silently whether she would in heartbreak world or not) Oh here we go

(Chorus) Baby don't worry bout it Lady we'll go out to the floor (He wants her to enjoy everything with him, he wants to learn her about things that he can do in his world)

[Kid cudi] Anyway they don't know you like I do <They don't know> They'll never know you <Never Know> Anyway they don't know you like I do <Never Know> (He knows that his friends and other people will not fully get her as good as he does, but he feels that its just fine because he wants to be the one that cares most for her)

(Verse 2) All of the time you wanna complain about the nights alone So now you're here with me Show some gratitude Leave the attitude way back at home (He wants her to feel gratitude towards him for taking her to his world ´cause if he notice that she doesn’t enjoy it as much as he does he feels a pressure to assure her that everything’s fine and deny the fact she isn’t enjoying herself) Yeah you see ´em look Baby let ´em look Give you cold looks ´cause we look cold Yeah you heard about all the word of mouth Don't worry about what we can't control All the talk in the world lost in the world (He wants her to compete with him against others ´cause that what you are supposed to do, he doesn’t wants her to care if people are talking about their relationship and his gangs that he hang out with, ´cause he knows that is a bit because of him that they are talking about it) 'Til you finally let that thing go You wanna check into the heartbreak hotel But sorry we're closed. (He wants to say the she lose him and his world)

(Chorus) Lady don't worry bout it Baby we'll go out to the floor (He wants her to enjoy everything with him, he wants to learn her about things that he can do in his world)

[Kid cudi] Anyway they don't know you like I do <to they floor> They'll never know you <Hey! never know> Anyway they don't know you like I do <They don't know> (He knows that his friends and other people will not fully get her as good as he does, but he feels that its just fine because he wants to be the one that cares most for her)

Baby don't worry bout it Lady don't even think about You worry bout the wrong things The wrong things[x3] You worry bout the wrong thing (He feels like she worries too much of what might happen in the heartbreak world, he wants to share his world with her)

[Kid cudi] Anyway they don't know you like I do They'll never know you Anyway they don't know you like I do[x2] They'll never know you. (He knows that his friends and other people will not fully get her as good as he does, but he feels that its just fine because he wants to be the one that cares most for her)

Well, srry if my english isn´t good enough.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
